Bill, years ago I used to visit a restaurant called Great Wall (common name in the US), served a disk called Willow Beef. Thin strips of beef, long sections of green onion, small dark red chilies (VERY hot), in a brown sauce. Don’t remember all of the ingredients. Have you heard of a similar recipe? Can you provide it? We have a lot of traditional Chinese soup recipes, just search “SOUP” on our blog, you will find a whole bunch of recipes.
